I am a Hairstylist and have been in Business in Union Springs for 21 years. I started out at 2 Basin Street in a small salon and moved to the Main Street in 1993. I have been a Hairstylist for 33 years. I graduated from Cayuga Onondaga BOCES in 1981 and purchased my own Salon which I ran for 3 years. I then moved to Florida and worked in other salons for 9 years. After missing the change of seasons I moved back to Union Springs and opened up my salon in 1993. I go to Nursing home and private homes when needed for those who cannot get to me. I have been a volunteer for the Look Good Feel Better Program through the American Cancer Society for 12 Years. This is a once a month program at Auburn Hospital for those women undergoing Chemo Treatments and chemo side effects. We help women with make-up, wigs, and scarves to help them Look Good and Feel Better!
